Heat oven to 375°F.
Beat butter, vanilla extract, and agave syrup in a medium size bowl. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Slowly add in flour, baking soda and salt. Continue to beat until fully combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Using a tablespoon, drop dough onto un-greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until a light golden brown. Cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
